Brewed with NW pale and two row malts, Trident Triple IPA is intensely resinous and aromatic with citrus and tropical fruit tones. Light pale in color and swollen with an inordinate amount of Comet, Simcoe, Citra, Amarillo, and Mosaic hops for maximum hop sensory experience.

Our Vintage Ale Collection consists of unique beers that have each been handled differently including various types and durations of barrel-aging, conditioning on various fruits and mixed fermentation cultures, and final blending.  Due to the nature in which they age, remaining in continual contact with such a host of variables at play, each release is distinctly its own.  All of them however, are highly bold and complex beers designed to be enjoyed upon their release, or can continue to age gracefully when properly cellared.  Our approach is to handle these beers with detailed consideration, yet remain completely patient in letting them transform into something exquisite.  We hope you enjoy these limited, vintage ales and discover something fascinating and special in your imbibing.

Ruby red in color with a mix of stone fruit and jam like aromas. A blend of sour raspberry blonde and Flanders style red ales both aged in French oak barrels, resulting in flavors of fruit leather, mild oak, ad a pleasantly sour finish.

2018 Barrel-Aged Sour Blackberry Wheat

An American-style Wheat beer, aged for 24 months in charred American oak barrels with a blend of Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus cultures. 50 lbs. of Puyallup river valley blackberries were added to each barrel 6 months before bottling. Deep rosy in color, with a subtle blackberry pie aroma and tart effervescence leading to a dry and slightly oaky finish.

Aged for over two years in French oak Bordeaux barrels, this Flanders style sour brown ale offers a complex nose of tart green apple and stone fruit. A mixed culture of wild yeast produces intriguing flavors of leather, dark fruit skin, and acidity all layered over a gentle maltiness. Dark brown with reddish hues, this sour brown has aged gracefully from its’ rustic origins into a beer of both boldness and refinement.

Wild Red Raspberry Imperial Stout

Initially fermented with conventional brewers yeast, known as saccharomyces, this earthy and tart Imperial Stout underwent an extensive 20-month secondary conditioning phase on a Brettanomyces yeast culture.  Six months before bottling, we added an abundance of locally grown red raspberries contributing a layer of fruit complexity.  A mix of tart raspberry and dark cherry like aromas mingle with Brett induced mustiness in the nose.  Faint hints of cocoa, raisin, and raspberry fruit leather lead to a tart and dry finish.

Tawny copper in color with a sweet, toffee like malt character, this Vintage Ale consists of 2/3- 12 month bourbon barrel aged Barley Wine and 1/3 matured Strong Stock Ale.  Rich and smooth on the palate, with notes of caramel, raisins, and sweet whiskey.   Mild tannins from the barrel and mellow alcohol lend a pleasant and harmonizing dryness to the finish.
